When visiting coral reefs make sure you do not touch the delicate coral. Even the slightest contact could damage the reef.

Avoid eating certain seafood and fish that help protect coral reefs. Such as parrotfish who eat algae off coral reefs, cleaning the reefs and keeping the coral healthy.

If you live near the coast, volunteer in your local beach and or reef cleanups. If you do not live near the coast, get involved in protecting your local watershed. Help in any opportunities near you.

Don’t leave any unwanted fishing lines or nets on the coast or in the water. All forms of pollution are bad for our environment and can harm our reefs and the animals who call them home.
